Lori on Apple Road is a reference to where I grew up -- outside of a small Midwestern town, population 365, on the intersection of Apple Road and a state highway.
Unfortunately, the two of us aren't together any more, except in my mind. I think no matter where I live, Apple Road is always going to be home.
This year, I decided that my gift to myself would be a hobby --
something other than schoolwork and that was purely selfish. On the back burner for ages has been a desire to better organize my recipes and keep track of my thoughts as I cook. I think a blog is a fine place to start. Welcome to my new hobby.
